Ordering

How do I place an order with La Maison De Luxe.co.uk?
Simply click the product you wish to purchase, enter the quantity/size/colour and click ADD TO BASKET. To continue your shopping click CONTINUE SHOPPING. When you are ready to complete your order click CHECKOUT. You will then be invited to login or register with My Details.

  • The first step of checkout is delivery details and you will be asked to fill out necessary information such as name, address and delivery address in the appropriate boxes.
  • The second step covers postage and packing. This screen lists your purchases, the delivery address/es and the cost of post and packing.
  • The third step covers payment. Simply enter follow the instructions.

Finally, click CONFIRM ORDER to complete your order. It is only at this point that your order is sent to us over a secure link. Your order will then be summarised on screen. We recommend you print this page for your own personal records. We will acknowledge your order by email.

How do I create an online account?
Click 'Login' at the top right hand side of the page and 'Create an Account' . Simply enter your details. Click here to create an account now.

Do I receive confirmation once I have placed an order?
Yes, once your details are confirmed we will acknowledge your order by email.

Can I change my order?
We are unable to amend your order, however, it may be possible for us to cancel your order on your behalf prior to despatch. Please e-mail our Customer Services as soon as practically possible. Once the item is despatched, we cannot cancel your order. You have up to 7 working days from delivery date to return your item for a full refund (corsetry excluded).

How do I track my order?
After your order has been shipped, we will be sending you an email confirmation along with the shipment tracking of your package.

What happens if an item I have ordered is out of stock?
All items are subject to availability. Generally, if an item is showing on our website then it is available to order. However, during busy periods we may be in a position where we cannot supply an item or there may be an unexpected delay in despatch. If this is the case, we will let you know as soon as possible.

What should I do if my credit/debit card has been refused when placing an order?
For details on why your card was refused, please contact your card issuer.

Can I purchase La Maison De Luxe Gift Certificates?
Yes, simply click on Gift Certificates and then choose the amount.

What if I have an enquiry about an order placed through this web site?

How much do you charge for shipping?
Standard UK Delivery: £4.95 (items are expected to arrive within 2-4 working days*); International Europe Delivery: £7.95 (items are expected to arrive within 4-10 working days) and International Rest of the World Delivery: £14.95  (items are expected to arrive within 7-14 working days).  *During busy sale periods delivery can take up to 7 working days.

Do I get charged for the delivery of each item I ordered?
No, you will be charged per order no matter how many items are placed.

May I still order from this site if I live outside the UK?
Yes! All of our products are available for worldwide delivery.

When and how will my order be delivered?
We will select the most appropriate carrier for your goods to ensure your order is delivered in the best possible way. This means some items in your order may arrive at different times. Due to different locations we send the items from, your order may be divided into separate parcels which may be delivered at different times within the delivery lead time.

Do you ship to other countries?
Yes. We ship our products worldwide.

What if only part of my order has arrived?
Due to different locations we send the items from, your order may be divided into separate parcels and may be delivered at different times. If, however, your item(s) do not arrive within our stated lead times, please contact our Customer Services team who will be happy to help you. Please note lead times are only an approximation, as we are unable to guarantee a delivery time at the point of order.

What if my order arrives damaged?
Simply pack the goods into their original packaging, enclosing the completed Returns Form, and follow the instructions on the returns form. For information on how to return please click here.

We like to give you plenty of payment options. You can shop with your credit or debit card, as well as Paypal. You can use any of the cards listed below. Payments are processed by PayPal, but you don't need a PayPal account in order to buy.

Returns & refunds

What is La Maison De Luxe's return policy?
We are happy to refund any item in a fully re-saleable condition with proof of purchase, within 7 days of delivery. Certain items are excluded due to hygienic or practical reasons unless faulty, ie, custom made corset, pierced jewellery, briefs, cosmetic and toiletries, and personalised/custom made/altered items. How long will it take for a refund to be credited to my account?
Once we have received your returned item(s) we will process and refund within ten working days (this may take longer depending on how long your bank/building society takes to process the payment).

How do I return my order via Royal Mail?
To return via Royal Mail please pack the package securely and enclose the completed returns form, affix the postage pre-paid returns label and take the parcel to any Post Office. Please retain documentary evidence of retuned parcel for future reference.

Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, we do - click here to send one! Our gift certificates are available in the amount of your choice between £5 up to £500, and are sent via email. They are available in £GBP and are valid for 12 months. If your recipient only uses part of their gift certificate, the remaining balance will be credited to their account to use at a later date.

How do I use a promotion code?

What is My Account?
My Account is a personalised data bank that records and stores your information for use each time you shop. By registering your shopping experience on La Maison De Luxe.co.uk is made quicker and easier as you only have to enter your details once and they will be remembered next time you shop.

What information will be stored?
Information stored within My Account will be your home address, your email address and your address book. All the information stored within My Account can be accessed and changed by you at any time.

Will my personal information be saved securely?
Yes, all the information you provide is protected using the latest encryption software. Whenever you access My Account, you will be asked for your password. In the event that you forget your password, we'll email you a new one that you must use to login. Once you have logged in you will be prompted to change it to something you can remember. For additional peace of mind, you can change your password as often you wish.

I have forgotten my password, how can I request a new one?
Simply click on Login/Register at the top of the page, click Forgotten Your Password and enter your Login ID email in the box provided. When you have done this, we will email you your new password. Once you have logged in with your new password you will be prompted to change it to something more memorable.

How do I change my password?
To change your password, click on Login/Register at the top of the page, enter the email address that you registered with, click on Change Password, fill in the box provided and click Update.

Can I change information that is stored in My Account?
Yes, to change any information stored in My Account, login and click on the area that you wish to change and amend accordingly. Once you have finished, click Update and always remember to logout so others cannot access your personal data. Logout closes My Account, but still allows you to browse the site.

Because we are an online retailer, we find it more efficient to answer your queries via email rather than phone. In fact, with our aim to respond to all email queries within 1 working hour we feel confident that you would get a better service via email than you would by phone.

Corsetry - Frequently Asked Questions

How do I take my measurements?
Taking your measures for the corset is a very simple task. Click here to check where the right spots to measure are. Please enter each measurement in centimeters.

What should I do if I am unsure how to measure myself?
Please see our Measurement Guide. However, if you are still unsure you can book a home visit for £30 (London area only) sending us an e-mail by clicking here.

I’d like to order a custom corset from you, but I’m afraid to invest that kind of money into an online order. How can I be sure that it will fit me if I order on the internet?
The safest way to ensure a properly fitting garment is to provide us with correct measurements. We have worked with many clients all around the world, creating custom designs suitable for their figure types. We also offer for £30 a Home Visit Service (London area only) to take your measures.

Will a corset make me appear slimmer?
Yes! An authentic corset will enhance your figure to give you more of an hourglass shape. Our corsets will reduce your waistline by an average of 2-4 inches, as well as flattening your tummy and enhancing your bust.

Can I sit/stand/drive/work comfortably in my corset? Will it stand up to wear and tear?
You should think of your corset as a foundation garment which should be comfortable to wear. You wouldn’t wear an uncomfortable bra! If your corset fits you properly, then you should be able to do your day to day activities unhampered. This is includes (but not limited to) breathing, sleeping, sitting, and standing. You should be able to breathe in your corset with no difficulty. You can also eat in your corset, though you may find a reduction in your appetite.

Will a corset help me to lose weight?
Wearing a corset will put some pressure on your stomach. For many individuals this constant restriction reminds them to stop eating before they are overly full.

Can I eat normally while in a corset?
While wearing a corset you may find that avoiding carbonated beverages and eating lightly makes your corseting experience more comfortable. The carbonation may cause slight discomfort as the bubbles tend to create gas which has nowhere to go, and may result in un-ladylike burping. Overeating while in a corset may cause stomach pains, as the restriction on the waistline tends to make the stomach feel full quite quickly. Our experience has shown that taking a corset off directly after a heavy meal may also cause serious discomfort, so remember to eat lightly when laced tightly!

What is the estimated delivery time for a custom made corset?
Corsetry on average takes 4 to 6 weeks to produce depending on the season. Shipping will take from 5 days (UK) to 1-2 weeks (to United States for example). This may vary slightly at very busy times, so we recommend that purchases at peak seasons such as Christmas and Valentines are made early to ensure rapid delivery.
