This hat is worn on the head with the help of an elastic hat cord that hides under the hair and is pulled around the bottom of the head near the nape of the neck (see detail photos). If you would rather pin this hat into your hair all you have to do is tie a small knot in the hat elastic and add some bobby pins in order to easily attach it. The frame of this hat is hand constructed from sturdy buckram.

They are produced in San Francisco Bay, California by Kat Toronto. Her inspirations are drawn from curious and diverse sources: from 18th century fashion illustrations, to the decadent and decaying glitz of early 1900's circus sideshows, and the deadly femme fatales of classic film noir.
